Traditional Worship

Our Traditional worship service begins at 11 AM in the sanctuary.  This service engages worshipers in both liturgy and music.  Anyone familiar with a Presbyterian/Reformed order of worship will immediately feel at home in this service.  The service is structured around 6 important elements: preparation, adoration, confession, proclamation, response and sending. These components are comprised of Liturgical prayers, affirmations of faith, time with children, choral anthems, hymns sung to the accompaniment of a pipe organ, and the reading of scripture. Sermons are delivered in a way that engages the issues of our society and challenges the worshipers to model the life of Christ through faith and action in the community and the world.
During the Summer (June-August) the 9:00 Contemporary and 11:00 Traditional Services are combined for a 10:00 AM Worship Service which alternates between Central Hall (contemporary style) and the Sanctuary (traditional style).
